Tuesday - A day off from rowing, if such a thing exists :-)

The team went adventuring in London, whilst coaches caught up on administrative tasks and more. I, for one, took a walk in the country hills around Henley. The biggest excitement of the day, other than an excellent dinner at the three Tuns, was that I rescued a very young fawn that had it leg stuck in a fence. Could not have been more than a few hours old. Mom was nearby and I'm sure was grateful when her youngster was freed.

We are seeing a big influx of US crews for both HWR and HRR. Things are getting busier.

Back on the Thames tomorrow for two practices....

Cheers!

Absolutely ancient oak tree. Many like that around these parts.

Silver Beach

Hundreds of years of feet definitely have an effect...

Boat tents for Henley Royal....and ONLY Henley Royal....
